I am a software engineer with over 14 years of experience building production systems across fintech, healthcare, and telecommunications. I hold a BSc in Computer Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Dar es Salaam, and began my career developing hospital management platforms and multi-channel payment gateways — systems where reliability and correctness are non-negotiable.

Since 2015 I have served as Senior Product Development Manager at Axian (formerly Millicom/Tigo), where I architect, design, and deliver the critical infrastructure powering Tanzania's mobile money ecosystem. My work spans high-throughput messaging services, real-time financial triggers, mobile money interoperability with banks, USSD platforms, and the Mixx By Yas mobile app — systems used daily by millions of customers.

What drives me is the conviction that great technology is inseparable from business outcomes. I bring both hands-on engineering depth and the perspective of a product leader: I write code, design distributed systems, guide engineering teams, and translate complex technical decisions for executive stakeholders — all in service of shipping things that matter.

Designed and implemented an event-driven trigger engine that fires contextual actions in real time based on customer transactions and behaviour across the mobile money platform.

Malipo ya Serikali

Integration with the Government e-Payment Gateway (GePG) for government bill payments, and integration with Tanzania Instant Payment System (TIPS) to enable real-time transfers between Mixx By Yas, banks, and other mobile operators.

Kubernetes Clusters
